Interventional Pain Management Physician

About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified or board‑eligible physician specialized in Interventional Pain Management. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive outpatient and peri‑operative pain care, with a shared monthly outpatient call rotation and no inpatient call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional pain procedures for chronic pain patients.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in both outpatient clinics and peri‑operative settings.
• Participate in a monthly outpatient call rotation shared among the pain team.
• Develop and maintain relationships within an expanding referral network.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and care coordination.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Interventional Pain Management, with fellowship training.
• Strong interest in chronic pain management and ability to deliver both interventional and comprehensive care.
• Comfortable building referral relationships and working in a collaborative, multi‑specialty environment.
• Commitment to using comprehensive electronic medical records.
