Interventional Cardiologist (Physician)

About the role

Ochsner Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a Board‑Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join an established, high‑performing cardiology practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. The physician will work alongside four other interventional cardiologists within a nationally recognized group of over 80 cardiovascular clinicians. Ochsner hosts one of the nation’s largest academically accredited interventional coronary and peripheral vascular training programs, emphasizing excellence in patient care and education. The successful candidate’s CV will be reviewed by the System Chairman of Cardiology, Dr. Sammy Khatib.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and lead interventional procedures for coronary and peripheral vascular disease in state‑of‑the‑art catheterization laboratories.
• Provide non‑surgical treatment and prevention of heart attack, structural heart disease, stroke and limb loss.

Required profile

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Ability to employ and lead the full range of interventional skills in modern catheterization labs.
