About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a full‑time, non‑tenure‑track faculty member to teach Industrial Technology, with a focus on welding. The position supports on‑ground, hybrid, and online delivery and reports to the Dean of Career and Workforce Education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality classroom and laboratory instruction in Industrial Technology.
• Develop and update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and technological trends.
• Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback.
• Engage with industry partners to align programs with workforce needs.
• Participate in departmental meetings and college service activities.

Required profile

• Relevant academic credentials in Industrial Technology, welding, or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching in higher‑education or technical training environments.
• Ability to work across on‑ground, hybrid, and online formats.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
