Household Manager – Meal Prep & Childcare (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Household Manager to support our family in Redwood City. The role combines meal planning, preparation, and occasional childcare, allowing the parents to focus on their work while maintaining a calm, organized home.

Key responsibilities

• Plan weekly menus, shop for kosher groceries, and prepare 5–6 meals per week, including batch cooking and fresh meals.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, pack school and camp lunches, and manage snack systems.
• Organize household areas, perform daily resets, and coordinate deep‑cleaning projects and seasonal decluttering.
• Handle errands such as grocery restocking, laundry, pet care, and vehicle maintenance.
• Support family logistics: school pickups, light childcare, calendar management, and occasional date‑night assistance.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented individual who anticipates needs and creates calm, structured environments.
• Comfortable working with young children, offering gentle, patient, and consistent care.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to maintain a smoke‑free, vaccinated household.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
