House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Support)

About the role

We are a warm family of four in Burlingame seeking a part‑time House Manager & Family Assistant to support our evenings. The primary focus is planning, cooking, and cleaning dinner, while also handling household organization and errands to reduce the parents’ mental load.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and clean up fresh family dinners Monday‑Thursday.
• Cook next‑day adult lunches and weekend leftovers.
• Prepare kids’ lunches and healthy snacks.
• Manage grocery shopping, deliveries, and kitchen inventory.
• Perform daily household resets, tidying and organization.
• Coordinate donations, guest preparations, and travel packing.
• Execute deep‑cleaning tasks such as refrigerator and oven cleaning.
• Maintain inventory lists, restock pantry items, and handle errands.
• Manage family calendar, appointments, and event planning.
• Provide backup childcare, pet walks, and basic pet care.
• Oversee laundry, garment care, and vehicle maintenance scheduling.

Required profile

• Highly reliable, proactive “doer” who anticipates needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable cooking varied, healthy meals and respecting no‑pork preference.
• Warm and comfortable around children and dogs.
• Holds or can obtain CPR and First Aid certification; reliable transportation.
