House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time House Manager & Family Assistant to support our active family in Sea Girt, NJ. The role involves overseeing household operations, preparing healthy meals, managing errands, and providing occasional childcare support while earning $30‑35 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prep, and clean up after 5+ healthy family dinners weekly, plus snacks, lunches, and grocery shopping.
• Maintain household organization (closets, pantry, toys), tidy rooms daily, and coordinate weekly cleaning services.
• Track and restock supplies, manage online orders, and handle mail, deliveries, and errands.
• Provide backup childcare, school pick‑ups/drop‑offs, and assist with scheduling and family logistics.
• Wash, fold, and organize laundry and linens, ensuring tidy laundry areas.
• Keep the family vehicle clean, stocked, and coordinate washes and maintenance.
• Oversee vendors and service providers, schedule repairs, and supervise property upkeep.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects, seasonal décor, and special household initiatives.
• Support administrative tasks such as calendar management, travel planning, and appointment coordination.

Required profile

• Can maintain a smoke‑free environment and pass a background check.
• Enjoys cooking and preparing wholesome meals; stronger cooking skills are a plus.
• Loves children and can provide occasional childcare support.
• Highly organized, proactive, calm, self‑sufficient, and detail‑oriented.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to sign an NDA.
• Patient, punctual, health‑conscious, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable asking questions when needed.
