Head of Real Estate – Global Strategy & P&L Owner

About the role

Montauk Capital is seeking a Co‑Founder to lead the real estate and infrastructure function for Perimeter Compute, a pre‑seed venture delivering modular, metro‑edge AI compute nodes. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the global real‑estate strategy, site acquisition, build‑out, and ongoing maintenance across multiple cities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi‑year physical‑infrastructure and real‑estate roadmap aligned with rapid global expansion goals.
• Own the full P&L for all physical assets, making capital allocation and cost‑optimization decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end site acquisition: market mapping, qualification, negotiation of letters of intent, and commissioning.
• Forge and maintain high‑level partnerships with property owners, technicians, and contractors to ensure flawless city‑by‑city rollout.
• Oversee long‑term maintenance protocols and operational performance of compute nodes.

• Proven senior leader with deep experience in strategic real‑estate deployment and complex infrastructure operations.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage large‑scale budgets.
• Exceptional relationship‑building skills with owners, contractors, and technical partners.
