About the role
Sentradel, a defense startup developing autonomous low‑cost kinetic turret systems to counter small FPV and low‑flying drones, is looking for a Guidance and Controls Engineer. In this role you will design and tune closed‑loop gimbal control, develop state estimation algorithms and implement target‑leading capabilities for our turret platforms. The position is full‑time, onsite at our Minden, Nevada office, with frequent travel to test ranges across the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Design and tune closed‑loop control for the gimbal.
- Build state estimation and target‑leading algorithms for the turret.
Required profile
- Proven experience building closed‑loop control systems with strong understanding of classical controls and state estimation.
- Experience with ROS.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Must be a US Person as defined under ITAR.
