Computer Vision Engineer

About the role

Sentradel is a defense startup developing autonomous, low‑cost kinetic turret systems to defeat small FPV drones and low‑flying threats. We have demonstrated the ability to shoot down dozens of drones in live‑fire testing and maintain active Department of War agreements and commercial partnerships. We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to build the perception stack that powers detection, tracking and real‑time video processing for these systems. The role is full‑time, based in our Minden, Nevada office, with regular travel to test ranges across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the perception stack, including detection, tracking and real‑time video pipelines.
• Deploy and optimize computer‑vision models on embedded GPUs such as NVIDIA Jetson.
• Improve detection range using low‑cost sensors and edge compute.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping real‑time computer‑vision systems in production.
• Background in drone or small‑object detection and tracking.
• Ability to work with embedded GPUs (NVIDIA Jetson) and CUDA.
