Groundskeeper – The Braden on Fifth

About the role

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance of the community, ensuring that grounds, amenities, and curb appeal meet Greystar standards. This full‑time position supports the service team and contributes to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping common areas and amenities tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 25 lb independently and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and take “call” during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
