Groundskeeper / Porter for Lynwind Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the Lynwind community in Davenport. You will work closely with the service team to ensure common areas, amenities, and the overall curb appeal meet Greystar’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings from all common areas and amenities.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and keep storage areas tidy.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with apartment turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and handling maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA‑related training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
