Global Product Support Engineer III

About the role

As a Global Product Support Engineer III you will apply project management, mechanical aptitude, and data analysis to develop maintenance strategies, troubleshoot field issues, and support new product rollouts for Applied Materials' semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in lab and field installation of new products.
• Work with Manufacturing to develop procedures and take part in new product final testing.
• Develop new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to service new products.
• Drive resolution of key issues with Engineering.
• Take part in beta‑site test plans and reporting.
• Partner with Quality & Reliability to review and address top field issues.
• Provide input for Customer Engineering Notices, Internal Service Bulletins and troubleshooting guides.
• Identify new parts that need stocking and coordinate with AGS.
• Communicate work output through presentations, reports and verbal updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering or technical role.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Based in Kalispell, MT.
