Geotechnical Engineer – Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in California. As a Project Engineer you will lead geotechnical and geological aspects of diverse projects, ensuring high‑quality analysis, design, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary and forensic geotechnical and geological investigations.
• Perform field inspections, testing, and laboratory data review for construction projects.
• Analyze soil and rock data, prepare reports on stability, foundation design, and related recommendations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to develop effective solutions.
• Manage projects from planning through completion, including plan reviews and cost proposals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate findings to owners, designers, and authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience (recent graduates are welcome).
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification in California.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with attention to detail.
