Full‑Time Pharmacist – Oncology Specialty Pharmacy

About the role

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking two full‑time pharmacists to join its oncology specialty pharmacy in New Hyde Park, NY. The position is onsite, Monday‑Friday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm EST, and focuses on serving community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and route of administration.
• Maintain a comprehensive patient database with medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications.
• Order, evaluate, and discuss laboratory tests for high‑risk conditions with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to provide clinical and technical support.
• Document all communications and implement policies for safe drug procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and report medication‑related errors.
• Assist staff with safe handling procedures and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D preferred).
• Current pharmacy license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of experience in a specialty pharmacy (preferred).

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations.
