Full‑Time Bilingual Receptionist (Spanish/English)

About the role

J&Y Law, a growing plaintiff’s personal injury and elder‑abuse law firm, is seeking a reliable full‑time receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. The role blends front‑desk duties with light accounting and administrative support in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls with professional phone etiquette.
• Greet clients and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for attorneys and staff.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and general office correspondence.
• Maintain front‑desk organization and overall office appearance.
• Assist with data‑entry tasks, light bookkeeping, and other administrative projects as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative support role.
• Prior exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable/receivable is preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong communication, customer‑service orientation, and professional appearance.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑moving office setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with basic office systems and data‑entry tools.
