Full-Time Security Guard

About the role

The Security Guard will protect people, property, and assets across Kingman Healthcare facilities. This full‑time position requires a visible presence, rapid response to incidents, and support for emergency procedures in a hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior patrols to identify security, safety, or environmental risks.
• Monitor and control access to facilities in line with hospital policies and visitor guidelines.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and safety concerns using approved de‑escalation techniques.
• Provide a visible security presence to deter unsafe behavior and promote a calm environment.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and hospital safety codes.
• Support patient safety initiatives such as elopement prevention and protection of vulnerable populations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, logs, and required security documentation.
• Operate hospital security systems and communication equipment according to training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain and maintain an Arizona Unarmed Guard License within 90 days of hire.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive as required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years of experience in law enforcement, active military duty, or corrections.
• Completion of de‑escalation training and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Required skills

• Operation of security and surveillance systems.
• Incident reporting software and basic computer proficiency.
• De‑escalation techniques for handling confrontational situations.
