About the role
Charter College is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pediatric Nursing Instructor to join its nursing faculty in Anchorage, Alaska. The position involves delivering high‑quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction to prepare future registered nurses.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lecture, lab, and clinical sessions aligned with the approved nursing curriculum.
- Create a supportive learning environment that fosters cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development.
- Mentor students in professional nursing values and behaviors.
- Contribute to curriculum design and program outcomes reflecting current healthcare trends.
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and retention, providing academic support as needed.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and continuous faculty development.
Required profile
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Active Alaska RN license in good standing.
- Willingness to obtain ANCC Nurse Educator certification within three years if not already certified.
