About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator for its Oxford, MA service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, operating the forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers using a forklift, ensuring safe handling of all cargo.
- Navigate the dock area while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment.
- Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions to verify shipment details.
Required profile
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Experience operating a forklift in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to read manifests and interact with computer displays.
- Dependable work ethic and ability to thrive in a high‑speed warehouse setting.
