Full-Time Forklift Operator

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to safely move freight in and out of enclosed trailers at our Portland service center. The role involves operating a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock and handling a variety of loads up to 53 feet long.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers using a forklift.
• Navigate and operate the forklift on a roofed dock.
• Read and follow manifests to ensure correct shipment handling.
• Interact with computer displays to track inventory and shipments.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Some experience with less-than-truckload (LTL) operations is a plus.
