About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Full-Time Forklift Operator at our Salt Lake City, UT service center. As a Full-Time Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. The position involves operating a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Read manifests and interact with a computer display.
- Prior forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Dependable and able to work quickly.
- Some LTL (Less‑Than‑Truckload) experience preferred.
