Full-Time Adult Respiratory Therapist – Day or Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Adult Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to provide respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to in‑patients and out‑patients across all ages at our Jeff Hwy location.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures, including oxygen therapy, artificial ventilation, and airway management.
• Draw, analyze and report arterial blood gases and EKGs.
• Provide intermittent therapy, assist with changing artificial airways, and document clinical information.
• Educate patients and co‑workers on procedures and treatment plans.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred); no prior experience required.
• Current state respiratory therapist license and NBRC certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency with Windows‑style applications and data entry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) skills.
• Respiratory therapy procedures including oxygen therapy, ventilation, arterial blood gas analysis, and EKG interpretation.
