Front-End Engineer – Amazon Connect

About the role

Amazon Connect is an AI‑powered cloud contact‑center service that helps organizations deliver superior customer experiences at lower cost. As a Front‑End Engineer you will help shape the next generation of this fast‑growing service, building intuitive, scalable web interfaces used by millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front‑end components for Amazon Connect’s web console.
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders across AWS to define architecture and ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Implement responsive UI features that integrate with back‑end services, NoSQL data stores, and AI/ML APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Contribute to technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Strong computer‑science fundamentals and a passion for solving real customer problems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a focus on customer impact.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and taking ownership of end‑to‑end feature delivery.

Required skills

• Front‑end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web frameworks).
• Experience with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Knowledge of SOA principles and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AI, machine‑learning, and big‑data concepts.
