Founding Product FullStack Engineer – AI Fintech

About the role

Join a VC‑backed early‑stage B2B SaaS startup building an AI‑native financial system. As a Founding Product FullStack Engineer you will own critical customer problems from concept to production, shaping the core product and engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with founders, operators, and finance teams to define product solutions.
• Design and implement full‑stack features across frontend, backend, AI, data, and external integrations.
• Develop AI finance agents that automate invoicing, collections, payroll, reporting, and month‑end close.
• Architect reliable infrastructure for permissions, audit trails, financial reconciliation, observability, and AI evaluation.
• Build seamless integrations with banking, accounting, payroll, and payment platforms such as QuickBooks, Plaid, and Stripe.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that translate complex financial data into clear insights.
• Ship work rapidly, monitor real‑world usage, and iterate based on feedback.
• Help define the company’s foundational engineering culture, architecture, and product standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven record of shipping production‑ready products.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, early‑stage environments.
• Strong product sense and a passion for building impactful software.
