Founding Product Designer

About the role

Arkham Technologies, a data and AI platform for large enterprises, is looking for a Founding Product Designer to help shape how AI-native systems are built and used in real enterprise operations. This is not a traditional design role: you will work at the intersection of AI, data and operations, designing interfaces for a world where humans supervise, review and guide AI agents that carry out work end to end. The position is in-person in the Bay Area.

Key responsibilities

• Design interfaces for AI-driven operational workflows such as forecasting, replenishment, pricing and exceptions.
• Rethink how humans interact with AI agents: review, approval, override and supervision.
• Create text-rich, decision-focused experiences that help operators act with clarity.
• Design role-specific applications that work across web, mobile and eventually voice.
• Help define Arkham's core product and design systems from the ground up.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, ML teams and Forward Deployed Engineers working with customers.

Required profile

• Believes the product design role is changing and wants to help define what comes next.
• Has followed the thinking of designers such as Ryo Lu and Karri Saarinen and formed their own point of view.
• Has seen how AI is reshaping engineering workflows and design collaboration.
• Cares deeply about clarity, judgment and usability in complex operational systems.
• Excited by ambiguity and early-stage product work, and wants to work in person with a small, ambitious founding team.

What we offer

• Competitive compensation.
• Healthcare.
• High ownership, high trust and high impact on a product with strong product-market fit and a partnership with Deloitte.
