Founding Pharmacist-in-Charge & Head of Compounding

About the role

We are building the modern compounding pharmacy of the future, combining top pharmacy expertise with cutting‑edge robotics and software. As the founding Pharmacist‑in‑Charge and Head of Compounding, you will lead all sterile and non‑sterile pharmacy operations in our Bay Area facility.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production of sterile and non‑sterile compounded medications.
• Design and implement quality, safety, and regulatory compliance processes (USP 795/797).
• Recruit, train, and manage a high‑performing team of pharmacists and technicians.
• Develop efficient inventory and workflow systems.
• Contribute to strategic planning and automation initiatives to enhance pharmacy infrastructure.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in a 503A compounding facility, preferably as Pharmacist‑in‑Charge.
• Active pharmacist license with a California registration.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in software and robotic automation.
