Founding Engineer

About the role

Beautifully Incorporated (doing business as Kindroid) is looking for a Founding Engineer to join its AI‑focused platform team in San Francisco. You will help shape the core product from the ground up, working across the full stack and collaborating directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement front‑end, back‑end, database and infrastructure components for a new AI platform.
• Build greenfield applications while maintaining and refactoring existing codebases.
• Identify, evaluate and integrate new development tools to accelerate delivery.
• Develop fine‑tuning pipelines and manage GPU clusters for model training.
• Work closely with design and product teams during hand‑off and feature rollout.
• Provide technical support to customers, debugging and resolving application issues.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of rigorous software engineering experience at high‑growth startups or established corporations.
• Proficiency with multiple programming languages and modern development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build new applications from scratch and to refactor large codebases.
• Strong debugging skills, able to trace complex logs and stack traces.
• Experience architecting software systems and databases.
