Financial Controller

About the role

Liberty Home Guard, the fastest‑growing home‑warranty provider, is looking for a dedicated Financial Controller. You will own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis, delivering insights that support strategic decision‑making and the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to shape financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Advise on investment opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions and compare actual performance to plans.
• Conduct strategic data analysis, research and modelling for senior leaders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements and tax standards.
• Develop strategic business plans based on financial forecasts and company status.
• Oversee quarterly and annual account reconciliations and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with third‑party service providers to secure optimal terms.
• Coordinate with Legal and Compliance on regulatory filings and reserve requirements.
• Drive improvements in financial technology, data management and AI‑enabled tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in finance or a related field.
• Strong quantitative abilities and clear communication of complex financial information.
• Experience in strategic financial planning, decision‑making and regulatory adherence.
• Proven track record of supporting fiscal health and growth initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial software and modelling tools.
