MJJ Brilliant Inc. is seeking a full‑time Financial Controller to join its Queens, NY office. The role focuses on overseeing financial statement preparation, leading reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements for several entities.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
• Manage budgeting processes and monitor actual performance against budgets.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement best financial practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management or a similar controller role.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting software or other financial systems.
