Factory Financial Analyst

About the role

The Factory Financial Analyst (Factory Controller) will support the Steam Turbine and Generator business across North America. You will provide financial planning, cost control, and performance analysis to help the organization meet its financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain standard costs in the ERP system, perform annual cost revaluations, and ensure accurate product costing.
• Analyze manufacturing performance by monitoring labor, material, overhead, yield, inventory, and variance against budget and forecast.
• Manage inventory controlling processes, including reserve calculations, cycle counts, safety stock analysis, and valuation.
• Lead annual budgets, monthly forecasts, financial modeling, capital project reporting, and general ledger analysis.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders to evaluate performance, challenge assumptions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, factory controlling, manufacturing finance, or financial planning and analysis, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, and variance analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with SAP.
• Expert use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems for financial reporting.
