About the role
We are seeking an Extra Help Registered Nurse to join the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Health Services on a temporary, fixed‑term basis. The role supports patient care through triage, medication administration, and coordination of urgent and routine appointments.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephone and in‑person triage assessments and direct patients to urgent care, same‑day, or future appointments as appropriate.
- Administer medications and immunizations within the scope of practice, following orders from APRNs and physicians.
- Provide referrals to off‑site services and ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions.
- Collaborate with the health services team to maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
Required profile
- Successful completion of an accredited nursing degree program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Arkansas or a multistate license from an NLC member state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
