About the role

The Extra Help Assistant-5 is a temporary, fixed‑term staff position supporting daily operations across campus departments at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. This role is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, who can contribute to a collaborative academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative assistance to faculty, staff, and students.
• Prepare, file, and maintain documents and records in accordance with university policies.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in‑person and direct them to appropriate resources.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
• Support data entry and basic reporting tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (student employee or graduate assistant).
• Eligibility to work on a temporary, fixed‑term basis without sponsorship.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site at the Pine Bluff campus.
