Executive Director – Europe (Remote)

About the role

The Stichting Ipas Europe Executive Director provides high‑level strategic leadership to advance Ipas’s mission across Europe. Based remotely, the role involves frequent travel to engage partners, donors, and stakeholders throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Ipas Europe’s strategy and action plans, focusing on partnership building and new business development.
• Lead external relations, resource mobilisation, and fundraising efforts targeting European government donors, foundations, and emerging funding ecosystems.
• Represent Ipas as the primary point of contact in Europe, fostering collaboration with diverse partners and donors.
• Ensure stewardship of funding, adherence to Ipas Network values, and strong governance of the Europe and UK entities.
• Collaborate with global Ipas leadership and network nodes to promote shared leadership and non‑hierarchical approaches.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to reproductive justice, human rights, abortion rights, gender equity, and diversity & inclusion.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and partnership development within the European context.
• Proven ability to secure and diversify funding from government donors, foundations, and philanthropic sources.
• Strong communication and diplomatic skills to represent Ipas across varied stakeholder groups.
• Willingness to work remotely while traveling as needed across Europe.
