About the role

The Extra Help/ESPN Camera Operator will support the Sports Information department by operating camera equipment for live and recorded productions. This temporary, fixed‑term position is ideal for individuals seeking hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced sports media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate primary camera and associated support equipment during shoots.
• Collaborate closely with the producer and production team to capture required footage.
• Monitor technical performance of camera gear and ensure optimal image quality.
• Follow safety protocols to protect crew and equipment.
• Maintain, organize, and test all camera equipment before each filming session.
• Troubleshoot technical and practical issues that arise on set.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
