About the role
The Extra Help/ESPN Camera Operator will support the Sports Information department by operating camera equipment for live and recorded productions. This temporary, fixed‑term position is ideal for individuals seeking hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced sports media environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate primary camera and associated support equipment during shoots.
- Collaborate closely with the producer and production team to capture required footage.
- Monitor technical performance of camera gear and ensure optimal image quality.
- Follow safety protocols to protect crew and equipment.
- Maintain, organize, and test all camera equipment before each filming session.
- Troubleshoot technical and practical issues that arise on set.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work on‑site in a team‑oriented environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety and operational procedures.
