Engineering Technician T3

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Engineering Technician T3 to support the design, testing, and assembly of electro‑mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves hands‑on work in a clean‑room environment, contributing to new product introductions and field upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex electro‑mechanical tasks including design, fabrication, modification, testing, and assembly of electronics and mechanical subsystems.
• Test and troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level issues in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Execute new system installations, NPI (New Product Introduction) upgrades, and field upgrades on AMAT platforms.
• Document test procedures, compile logbooks, and assist in updating departmental processes.
• Maintain safety standards, report hazards, and ensure a clean, secure work environment.

Required profile

• Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces and clean‑room conditions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, operate forklifts, and follow safety protocols.
