Engineering Technician III (T3)

About the role

The Engineering Technician III (T3) performs complex electro‑mechanical technical functions, including design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro‑mechanical systems. This role supports both system‑level and component‑level work on advanced semiconductor and display equipment, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, fabricate, modify, and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems and prototype models.
• Test and resolve system‑level and component‑level electrical and mechanical issues with minimal supervision.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Maintain safety standards, a clean work environment, and complete required health‑safety training.

Required profile

• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to provide technical input to management and train lower‑level technicians.
