Engineering Technician II – 2nd Shift (T2)

About the role

The Engineering Technician II works the 2nd shift building, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical modules and systems throughout the integration phase up to final system delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Develop and follow test specifications, methods and procedures derived from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Perform rework on assemblies or systems based on test results and prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Create and maintain “As Shipped” Bill Of Materials (BOM) configurations for production shipments, collaborating with project managers, manufacturing technicians and engineers.
• Support field installation, upgrade activities and new product introductions (NPI).
• Serve as a focal point for Shipping, Receiving, Totting (SRT) software, acting as a super‑user and maintaining knowledge bases and models.

Required skills

• Calibration and testing of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpretation of blueprints, drawings and technical diagrams.
• Use of specialized test equipment.
• Proficiency with SRT software and ERP systems for BOM management.
