Engineering Project Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

Cajun Engineering Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead moderately complex engineering projects in the oil, gas, and chemicals sectors. The role involves overseeing all phases of project execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects using a phase‑gated approach, from scope definition to final delivery.
• Collaborate with client teams to define goals, deliverables, and schedules.
• Coordinate and assign work to designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Track progress, control schedules, and maintain project discipline.
• Process invoices, change notices, and ensure timely payment.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare status reports for management and clients.
• Act as liaison between the company, clients, and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Proven success managing FEL and FEED projects.
• Experience or strong understanding of EPC projects in oil, gas, or chemicals.
• Ability to manage complex client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with company engineering standards and project‑control tools.
