Engineering Intern – General / AI

About the role

Allium is looking for a motivated Engineering Intern to join its General / AI team in New York. The intern will contribute to building the read‑optimized data layer that powers on‑chain finance and AI agents, helping transform raw blockchain events into a trusted system of record. You will work alongside engineers who are standardising data across more than 140 blockchains and supporting institutions that need reliable on‑chain financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in ingesting, verifying, and standardising data from multiple blockchains.
• Support the development of cross‑chain schemas and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver low‑latency, production‑ready infrastructure.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and documenting data transformation processes.
• Help maintain documentation of data standards and compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in blockchain technology, finance, and AI.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work on complex data problems.
• Eager to learn new programming languages and tools.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
