Endoscopy Technician – Freeway Endoscopy

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join the Freeway Endoscopy team within the Perioperative Services Endoscopy Lab. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and instruments for scheduled procedures.
• Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic examinations and interventions.
• Ensure proper sterilization, inventory management, and documentation of all endoscopic supplies.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to uphold quality and compliance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
• Prior experience in a clinical or endoscopy setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work day shift in an on‑site laboratory environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
