Emerging & Disruptive Biological Technology Analyst

About the role

CACI is hiring an Emerging & Disruptive Biological Technology Analyst in Frederick, Maryland, to support an Emerging and Disruptive Medical Technology Project. The project produces intelligence analysis on health and medical issues related to foreign militaries and operating environments, delivering decision advantage for military operations. The position is full time, regular, with up to 10% travel within the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Produce assessments projecting the discovery, development and deployment of advanced medical technologies and their impact on Defense Critical Infrastructure.
• Identify health-related disruptive threats and assess the impact of foreign environmental health issues and trends on environmental security and national policy.
• Develop indicators that identify the intentions, capabilities or actions of potential actors targeting health and related technology.

Required profile

• Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a biology, biomedical engineering, genetic engineering, neuroscience, synthetic biology, pharmacology, biotechnical manufacturing or other medical-related field.
• 6 years of experience in a medical or biology field.
• Excellent research and writing skills.

Required skills

• Desired: working understanding of DIA Analytic Design, product line and style guide.
• Desired: working understanding of ICD 203 and 206.
• Desired: previous experience publishing inside DIA.
