Electronics Technician III (FAA Technical Support)

About the role

The SCA – Electronics Technician serves as an experienced field technician supporting the Federal Aviation Administration under the TSSC‑5 contract. This position performs installation, modification, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on a variety of electronic systems that support the National Airspace System.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, relocation, and removal of electronic systems such as navigation aids, communications and surveillance equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to the unit, board, or module level using standard test equipment and fault isolation procedures.
• Support field installations, pre‑installation checks, rack and cabinet assembly, and cable routing, termination and testing.
• Document maintenance activities, complete service tickets, and provide as‑built information to senior staff.
• Follow all FAA, Parsons and OSHA safety, security and quality requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience with analog and digital electronics, RF and communications equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, bend and perform repetitive movements.
• Willingness to travel up to 100 % within the United States.
• Ability to meet FAA security requirements and pass a federal background check.
