Electro Mechanical Tech Level 4 – AGV Specialist

About the role

The AGV Technician Level 4 is the senior technical lead for Automatic Guided Vehicles at the WCD Islandia site. You will handle day‑to‑day troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance, and mentor lower‑level technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, calibrate, and maintain AGVs, including sensor adjustment, component replacement, lubrication, and hydraulics troubleshooting.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines, document work, and create/close work orders in the asset management system.
• Use electrical test equipment to diagnose circuits ranging from 5 V to 480 V.
• Locate and track spare parts, respond to service calls, and resolve equipment faults.
• Provide training to customers on equipment operation and lead on‑site maintenance projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or vocational technical training preferred.
• Senior‑level knowledge of AGV systems and proven experience in maintenance and repair.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal leadership.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb, bend, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions.
