Electrical Prefabrication Technician

About the role

Dubak Electrical Group is expanding its manufacturing plant in La Grange Park, Illinois, and seeks an Electrical Prefabrication Technician. The role works in a controlled Prefab Shop building essential electrical components for field installations, such as transformer skids, panels, lighting fixtures, HVAC racks, and temporary power racks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wire splicing and make electrical connections.
• Assemble power outlet boxes and stub‑up kits.
• Fabricate power, lighting, and equipment whips.
• Modify and prepare light fixtures and pendants.
• Prefabricate panelboards and conduct simple conduit bending.
• Thread pipes for various assemblies.

Required profile

• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, screw‑guns).
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and follow safety procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
