Director PMO

About the role

We are seeking a Director PMO to lead the enterprise‑wide project and program management function for our partner company in the United States. In this senior role you will shape governance, delivery methodology and performance standards to ensure successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, tools and reporting processes for enterprise projects and programs.
• Oversee full project and program lifecycles, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, quality and business objectives.
• Manage program‑level oversight for large, multi‑project initiatives, coordinating dependencies, milestones, financial performance, risks and benefits.
• Drive stage‑gate governance, accountability and visibility across the organization.
• Administer project and program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation and capacity planning.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing project and program management teams, defining competency frameworks and career paths.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, proactively addressing risks, dependencies and execution challenges.
• Provide executive‑level reporting and insights to support strategic decision‑making and stakeholder alignment.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, disciplined delivery and documented lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project and program management, including leadership of enterprise‑scale initiatives.
• Proven track record of building, scaling or transforming PMO and program management functions.
