Director of Capital Formation

About the role

Hirshmark Capital is looking for an experienced Director of Capital Formation to lead and execute the firm’s fundraising initiatives for current and future investment funds. The role involves developing strategy, managing investor relationships, and representing the firm at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital raising efforts for existing and new investment funds.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, consultants, endowments, foundations, and high‑net‑worth investors.
• Coordinate all aspects of the fundraising process, including meetings, due diligence, follow‑ups, and closing commitments.
• Represent the firm at conferences, investor meetings, and networking events.
• Collaborate with senior management on fundraising strategy, investor communications, and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience raising capital for private investment funds, private credit, private equity, real estate, or alternative investment managers.
• Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors.
• Existing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, consultants, and RIAs are strongly preferred.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.

• Base salary $250,000–$300,000 per year plus commission on capital raised.
