Director of AI Automation (Remote)

About the role

VetsEZ is looking for a senior leader to define and drive enterprise‑wide test automation and quality engineering strategy for its veteran‑focused software portfolio. This remote position reports to executive leadership and partners with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement test automation and quality engineering strategy across multiple products, platforms, and delivery teams.
• Establish testing standards, governance frameworks, quality metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Align quality engineering roadmaps with product, technology, and business objectives.
• Serve as the executive escalation point for critical quality issues and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Lead, mentor, and grow QA managers, test leads, automation engineers, and quality engineering teams.
• Partner with architecture and engineering leaders to improve testability, observability, and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Oversee design and evolution of scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, middleware, data, cloud, and AI‑enabled applications.
• Integrate automated testing, quality gates, and AI evaluation capabilities into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Guide adoption of cloud‑native testing practices for AWS‑based solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Develop quality strategies for AI‑powered solutions, including model validation and AI risk mitigation.
