Director, Financial Partnerships

About the role

Rain is hiring a Director of Financial Partnerships to lead and expand its strategic financial ecosystem partnerships globally. The role involves identifying, developing, and managing partnerships that enable Rain’s products, expansion, and long‑term growth, including banks, payment processors, fiat on/off‑ramp providers, treasury and liquidity providers, compliance infrastructure providers, and fintech platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Rain’s financial partnership strategy to support product expansion, geographic growth, and infrastructure resilience.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate new partnership opportunities and commercial/operational agreements.
• Drive cross‑functional initiatives and act as the primary bridge between external partners and internal teams such as Product, Compliance, Legal, Operations, GTM, Risk, and Executive Leadership.
• Identify new capabilities, unlock market expansion opportunities, improve economics, reduce operational dependencies, and strengthen the resilience of the partner ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing strategic financial partnerships.
• Strong commercial judgment and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, compliance, legal, operations, GTM, risk, and executive stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of modern financial infrastructure and its operation.
