Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – TOSH

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join its TOSH (Technical Operations and Support Hub) team. This position supports clinical imaging services during the evening shift, providing high‑quality diagnostic images for patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment (X‑ray, CT, fluoroscopy) to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and proper positioning according to protocols.
• Maintain equipment functionality, perform routine quality checks, and report any issues.
• Document procedures and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize workflow.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System or eligible student/graduate assistant.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Commitment to UAMS’s values of teamwork, diversity, and patient‑centered care.

Required skills

• Certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to interpret imaging orders and follow departmental protocols.
