Desktop Engineer – Windows & Mac Support (Spanish Required)

About the role

The Desktop Engineer provides on‑site and remote support for Windows and Mac workstations across the client’s primary office and warehouse. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexible early‑morning shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver local service support for Windows and Mac laptops, desktops, and PCs.
• Perform on‑site installations, hardware relocations, and software deployments.
• Maintain and repair physical devices, including printers (HP, Canon, Xerox, Zebra, Sato, handheld label printers).
• Coordinate with the Engineering team to meet service‑level targets and close incidents.
• Update the knowledge base, configuration management system, and produce incident statistics.
• Provide proactive maintenance, remote‑hands services, and special support during sales periods.
• Handle device incident management, problem management confirmation, and any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Good communication skills.
• 4+ years hands‑on experience with end‑user workstations (laptops, desktops, printers).
• Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
• Fluent Spanish speaking is mandatory.
• Willingness to work any 8‑hour shift between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, and travel to Clifton, NJ as needed.
