Design Lead (Hybrid, New York)

About the role

Our entertainment and technology client seeks a Design Lead who blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. Based in New York with a hybrid schedule, you will drive creative delivery from concept through final assets while mentoring a junior designer.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end creative delivery, managing timelines and ensuring on‑brand, high‑quality outcomes.
• Provide coaching, direction, and constructive feedback to a junior designer.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, editorial, and content teams to translate ideas into cohesive visual experiences.
• Introduce original concepts and design innovations informed by audience behavior and emerging technology.
• Review and polish work to maintain consistency across all deliverables.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of design experience, including 2–3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership, visual thinking, and end‑to‑end project ownership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects without compromising craft or clarity.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced skills with Figma, including design systems, components, variants, and scalable libraries.
